This comment is mainly focused on the E.U.’s Judges action – the European Court of Justice and the domestic judges - in defending the rule of law in Poland and, specifically, the principle of judges’ independence. With this aim, some peculiar features of three European Court of Justice’s judgments are shown and analyzed. At the end, some perspectives on Poland’s current situation are examined, taking into account the last press release on the order of the Court of Justice in case C-791/19.
