«Perché questo è il mio tema». Tre scritti di Michail Bachtin sulla teoria del romanzo

Introduciamo tre scritti di Michail Michajlovič Bachtin, da noi qui presentati in prima traduzione italiana, dedicati alla teoria del romanzo. Il primo risale al 1943, nel momento in cui alcuni concetti chiave sviluppati alla fine degli anni Venti e negli anni Trenta nella monografia su Dostoevskij (1929) e nei saggi sul Bildungsroman intorno al cronotopo, alla specificità della parola romanzesca e al confronto tra epos e romanzo si intersecano con lo studio delle forme della parola popolare, del grottesco e dell’antica tradizione del seriocomico a cui Bachtin sta lavorando per la sua dissertazione su Rabelais. Il secondo e il terzo testo, entrambi datati 1961, costituiscono un commento al saggio di Vadim Kožinov, “Origine del romanzo” poi pubblicato nel 1963 non senza cambiamenti e correzioni stimolati dai suggerimenti di Bachtin. Nonostante la forma di appunti incompiuti nei primi due casi, e della lettera personale nel terzo, questi scritti sono accomunati dalla radicalità teorica di uno scavo oltre le correnti letterarie in direzione di una poetica storica costruita su basi filosofico-antropologiche. / We present three Mikhail Bakhtin’s writings, here published in the first italian translation, devoted to the theory of the novel. The first dates back to 1943, when some key concepts, developed in the end of the Twentieth and in the Thirties in the monograph on Dostoevsky (1929) and in the essays on the Bildungsroman, on the chronotope, on the specificity of the word of the novel and on the comparison between epic and novel, are intersecting with the study of forms of the popular culture, of the grotesque and of the ancient tradition of seriocomic at which Bakhtin is working for his dissertation on Rabelais. The second and the third text, both dating back to 1961, represent a comment on the essay by Vadim Kozhinov «The origin of the novel», later published in 1963, not without changes and corrections provoked by Bakhtin’s suggestions. Albeit in the form of unfinished work notes in the first two cases, and of the personal letter, in the third, these writings have in common the theoretical radicality of an excavation beyond the main currents in the direction of a historical poetic built on philosophical-anthropological fundaments. / Представляем три текста Михаила Михайловича Бахтина, здесь нами впервые переведенные на итальянском, посвященных теории романа. Первый текст относится к 1943 г., когда некоторые ключевые концепции, развитые с конца 20-х гг. в монографии о Достоевском (1929) и в статьях о романе воспитания вокруг хронотопа, специфичности романного слова и сопоставлению эпоса и романа переплетаются с изучением форм народного слова, гротеска и старой традиции серьезно-комического - с тем, что Бахтин исследовал для своей диссертации по Рабле. Второй и третий тексты, оба 1961 г. представляют собой комментарии к монографии Вадима Кожинова "Происхождение романа", вышедшего затем в 1963 г. не без изменений и правок, стимулированных предложениями Бахтина. Несмотря на форму незаконченных заметок в первых двух случаях и в личного письма - в третьем, эти тексты примыкают к теоретической радикальности поиска за пределами литературных течений в направлении исторической поэтики, основанной на философско-антропологическом фундаменте.
