MEANING WITHOUT SUBJECT ‘Melanctha’ and the Relation of Communication to the Human Mind

Gertrude Stein’s novella ‘Melanctha’ (1909) inscribed within the canon of Anglo-American modernism the conceptual coordinates for the emergence of a posthumanist aesthetics.
