The purpose of this article is to provide an upto-date literature review about adhesion to dental hard tissues. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Adhesive dentistry includes etch and rinse and self-etch materials. Etch and rinse materials are characterized by use of phosphoric acid to obtain hard tissue demineralization followed by an adhesive solution application (primer and bonding). Self-etch are characterized by application of an acidic primer adhesive on smear-layer covered dentine followed by application of a non solvated resin bonding. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS. Simplification of adhesive dentistry does not produce any effective time saving consequently multiple applications needed, is a sensitive technique and may jeopardize the bond durability. Immediate dentin sealing is a new approach in indirect restoration in which dentin is sealed immediately following tooth preparation and before making the impression. Non carious cervical lesions (cervical wear) are pathological loss of dental hard tissue with a multifactorial etiology (abrasion, erosion, abfractions). The adhesive treatment of non carious cervical lesions required guidelines.

Abstract
The adhesive treatment of non carious cervical lesions required guidelines.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
