Esaminando la riedizione in un solo volume dei lavori dedicati da Boris Èjchenbaum a Lev Tolstoj (Raboty o L’ve Tolstom, Sankt Peterburg, 2009) si riflette sul ruolo svolto dalla complessa figura del grande scrittore nel percorso teorico dello studioso russo. Dalla stagione formalista alle ricerche sul byt letterario, dalla rivalutazione dell’istanza autoriale alla scrupolosa strumentazione documentaria, nelle mutevoli condizioni politiche e culturali della Russia nella prima metà del Novecento, gli studi tolstojani di Èjchenbaum costituiscono una importante testimonianza di un impegno filologico e critico rigoroso che riesce a serbare nei decenni la sua sostanziale continuità. / Reviewing the new edition in one volume of Boris Eikhenbaum's Works on Lev Tolstoy (Raboty o L've Tolstom, Sankt Peterburg, 2009), we reflect on the role played by the complex figure of the great writer in the theoretical route of the Russian scholar. Since the Formalist period to the researches on literary "byt",from the revaluation of authorial instance to the meticulous documentary instrumentation, in the changing political and cultural conditions of Russia of the first half of the twentieth century, Eikhenbaum's Tolstoyans studies are an important example of a rigorous philological and critical commitment which manages to preserve in the decades its substantial continuity. / Рецензируя новоое издание в одном томе работ Бориса Эйхенбаума посвященных Льву Толстому (Работы о Льве Толстом, Санкт-Петербург, 2009) мы рассмышляаем о роле сложной фигуры великого писателя в теоретическом пути русского ученого. С формалистического периода до исследований о литературном "быте", от переоценки авторский роли до тщательных документальных инструментов, в изменяющихся политических и культурных условиях России в первой половине ХХ века, Эйхенбаума исследования о Толстым являются важным примером строгого филологического и критического обязательства, котороее удается сохранить на десятилетия его существенную непрерывность.
