Michail Bachtin, Su Flaubert. Per una stilistica del romanzo

Presentiamo in prima traduzione italiana due testi di Bachtin redatti intorno agli anni 1944-1945 quali appunti preparatori a un lavoro su Gustave Flaubert. Da queste pagine lo scrittore francese mostra di rappresentare per il pensatore russo una figura molto più importante di quanto si supponesse finora. Fra i tanti motivi di estremo interesse qui presenti segnaliamo la riflessione sul ruolo degli animali in letteratura in riferimento al tema flaubertiano della bêtise – con aperture teoriche che troveranno ampie conferme negli studi letterari degli anni più recenti – e, ad essa legato, l’insistito richiamo sulla «possibilità di una visione del mondo completamente diversa», che ammetta la «curvatura» dello spazio e del tempo, quale presupposto della parola romanzesca. / We present the first Italian translation of two texts of Mikhail Bakhtin’s written around 1944-1945 as preparatory notes to a work on Gustave Flaubert. From these pages the French writer shows to represent for the Russian thinker a figure much more important than it was known to be. Among the many reasons of extreme interest which are present in these bakhtinian texts, we point out the reflection on the role of animals in literature in reference to the subject of “bêtise” in Flaubert - with theoretical insights that will find wide confirmation in critical theory of the recent years - and, linked to this reflection, the insisted reference to "the possibility of a completely different point of view of the world," - which Bakhtin links to the "curvature" of space and time - as a condition of the word of the novel. / Впервые на итальянский язык переведены два текста Бахтина, написанные ок. 1944-1945 гг., - его подготовительные записки к исследованию по Густаву Флоберу. Из этих страниц становится ясно, что французский писатель представлял для русского мыслителя намного большее значение, чем считалось прежде. Из многих интересных моментов этих текстов укажем на размышления Бахтина о роли животных в литературе относительно флоберовской темы bêtise - с теоретическими раскрытиями, которые найдут свои широкие подтверждения в позднейшем литературоведении. С этими размышлениями связан также призыв к "возможности видения совершенно другого мира", который допускает "кривизну" пространства и времени как предпосылки романного слова.
