The article examines in a historical-critical perspective some editorial textual products produced in the past using computers or more recently with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems; and pays particular attention to the relationship between the activity of the human subject and the activity of the artificial intelligence system, with the intention of demythologizing the naive idea that artificial intelligence is capable of writing texts. This becomes apparent when we observe that texts are always the product of initial intervention by a human subject who configures and directs, and then often fine-tunes, in the final stage, an artificial intelligence software system.

Abstract
The article examines in a historical-critical perspective some editorial textual products produced in the past using computers or more recently with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems; and pays particular attention to the relationship between the activity of the human subject and the activity of the artificial intelligence system, with the intention of demythologizing the naive idea that artificial intelligence is capable of writing texts. This becomes apparent when we observe that texts are always the product of initial intervention by a human subject who configures and directs, and then often fine-tunes, in the final stage, an artificial intelligence software system.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
