The selection of the best countermeasures against cyber-attacks is an increasingly important topic. In this tutorial we discuss how to exploit a decision-theoretic framework for the reliability of systems, based on the use of Decision Networks. Several case studies will be presented to address problems like the selection of the best recovery or repair actions, or the best countermeasures against a cyber-attack.
