Abstract

We present the work of the Russian linguist and philologist Grigory Osipovich Vinokur (1896-1947), with particular attention to its volume Kul'tura jazyka (Culture of Language) published for the first time in Moscow in 1925, at the watershead of a theoretical turning point in which Vinokur leaves the positions of Futurism and Formalism to endorse Gustav Shpet's phenomenological and hermeneutical thought.
